picture of the can?
it sounds like one of those cheap cans with no internal baffles, or filters. you would be much better off with a better can, I have one from mishimoto on mine ~$120 and well worth it. |

Just be careful and informed, most cheap cans on ebay, no matter how nice that may look, do nothing to stop the oil ingestion and other related issues. If all the vapors do is simply enter one fitting and U turn out of another, only a small fraction of oil is actually trapped. And any can with a breather breaks your PCV systems "closed" requirement for emissions as well as defeats several of the critical processes needed to keep your engine alive and as wear free as possible as well as being grounds to void your warranty. Post pictures of the can and we will guide you on installing it, but remember, there is no "cheap" way to properly address this. And just seeing some oil in a can is no indication of effectiveness. The goal is to stop it all. |

Catch can scam!
Thanks for your feedback,I did a lot of research on "catch cans" under no circumstance should anyone buy one of these "cheepos" I entered a formal complaint to EBAY on this issue.Maybe there should be a general warning about them, they are also listed on Amazon.
