Dealership is trying to put me in a 1LE...help! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I went to the dealership's parts dept today to pick up a deal on a ZL1 grille to put on my Camaro (gotta start getting ready for CamaroFest!) and started BSing with one of the sales guys about the new Camaros. Said they had one 1LE in and I mentioned that I hadn't had a chance to check one out yet. As I'm leaving, he pulls up in it and said "let's have some fun...". It's black on black and has the MyLink with nav (I had no idea how amazing that was gonna be!). No Recaros, which *may* be a dealbreaker. I really wanted those seats.

So long story short he let me borrow it for the day (which means I'm def leaving work for the day...). He's going to get back w/ me to let me know what my GM employee pricing would be so we'll see. Still...I'm really on the fence on this. I just spent $400 to get my 2010 tuned a couple weeks ago but I really dig this black on black look. Any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful. Help talk me out of this!

Even though I have decided to not buy any more black cars, I would still buy that. As long as it was under $40k otd

You won't get any help from me, I like my 1LE more than any car I have owned with the possible exception of my '69 Camaro. I have not sit in the Recaro seats so I can't say that the lack of the seats would be a deal breaker either. Good luck with your decision, I think that a day with the car will make it very hard to turn it down.

FYi...there are 3 1le's here at a dealer. 38,000 OTD. Recaro, 1ss, mylink, rs, M6.
Get that price or less!!!!!

At a stoplight...I feel like such a badass right now. Grinning like a schoolgirl which is strange considering it has less power than my 2010. Still...it's real nice
