Lingenfelter 700 zl1

Got the car yesterday after the upgrade.
Was dying to drive it for the past week.
Disappointed to say the least, the car seems to be slower than before.
Donno whether it's the tune or something else.

I've done the package and that's it.
Haven't changed the headers or anything on the exhaust side. The only other thing I've done is an intercooler pump upgrade as the oem was not available.

Do u guys think the car is getting heat soaked?
At low rpm I can feel a difference in power but as soon as I open the taps I can feel the power fading away.

Anyways I've fixed an appointment with the tuner to get a dyno tune done. Donno if it helps....

Pls chime in your ideas too as I'm heart broken after spending lots for the kit..

PD blower in hot weather has never impressed me. When it cools down and you gain 100-150rwhp from the weather change you may be impressed.

Best parts in the world mean nothing without a proper tune. Which is why I let LPE do it all. One of the best tuners there is. Drove it 400 miles home, got 23 mpg with the A/C on driving 75 mph and when I got home, there was little to no carbon in and around the exhaust tips, just a light brown tint. In the past with some tuners it would be black after 50 miles of driving. Good luck with it!

Lingenfelter replied by saying that they will mail a new file for my car
Do u think getting a dyno tune is better than flashing the file in?
Planning to do it from DYNO KING.
Has anyone had any previous experiences with this shop?
Any other shop doing tuning for American cars in dubai ?

I was just thinking out loud as to the fact your car doesn't run correctly with the current tune file. They normally work just fine which leads me to believe the file was corrupted, loaded with the incorrect programming, or both. Try the new file when you receive it and if it does it again then you have ruled out one problem, the file doesn't work for your car. If it works you are free to burn rubber.

If you have a COMPETENT tuner that knows the car and has done it before then have them try and write you a custom program. Be sure to back it up if you ever need it again. Just my opinion only.
