Charleston Boulevard Rod Run & Doo Wop

OCTOBER 4 - 7 Charleston, WV

I've attended many of your events in OH and wanted to take the opportunity to invite all of you to my neck of the woods. I attended this event for the first time last year and it was a blast. Kanawha Boulevard which runs along the Kanawha River in Charleston was shut down for about a 2 mile stretch and was filled to around 980 cars. Everything from oldies, rat rods, trucks (old/new), old and new muscle cars, and just about anything you could imagine. I'd love to meet y'all down here for some good times. For more info go to www.charlestonwvcarshow.com

I've added it to my car show calendar. Since it is a number of months out, I don't know if I'll attend yet.

I know next weekend is Cincy Speed Dyno Day but there is also a cruise-in/car show in Columbus. If anyone has been to this cruise-in before, what is the turn out like?

Never been.

I will be at CincySpeed on Saturday for part of the day. I plan to take the IROC. The 2010 has been dynoed enough. Next dyno with be when the cam goes in... hopefully beginning of July.

We are doing A LOT of home imporvements around the property this spring so if I have to dip into my cam fund, I may have to put it off... :( I hope to not have too but I will know by July. Thats why I scheduled it so far out.

Well, it has generated a whole lot of "business".

Got a few more mods to go in order to keep up with those guys in WV.

I see you put MT ET Street DRs on the back. Which Pirellis are those on the front. I can't quite read the label in the pic. They match well!

P-zero Rosso's 255/55/18, They are about 0.3" bigger Dia. than stock, within tolerances, but I was concerned as my 1.25" Pfadt springs sit a little lower with all that weight I added to the top of the engine. No problems, but might be a good excuse to move up to some coilovers eventually.

Here's a real illusion. When I looked at this picture, I had no choice to go out and measure the diameter of the front and back rims. Damned if the fronts don't look about 2" bigger. (actually were about 1/4" smaller)

This is all too funny, I went to School at UC. Lived off Staunton for two years.

Anyways my Little brother goes to school there still, so I may have to swing down! Not sure If i will be able to though, I need to be in Chicago on by Saturday to Run the Chicago Marathon on Sunday.

Yet again, all to funny cuz I lived there for the 4 years I was in school.
