anyone else have a slow leak in their tires?
Been noticing for the past couple of months now that my right read tire has a slow leak. No.. there is nothing it in and I havent run over anything. We put air back in and two-three weeks later its low again. And now my front tires are starting to do the same thing. Cant afford to buy new tires this time of year. Anyone else have this issue?

Normally, I sometimes need to put air in my tires when the weather gets cold going into fall. A warm tire will have more pressure than a cold tire. So when the weather gets cold, I may need to put a little in. But every 2 or 3 weeks means there is a leak somewhere IMHO. |

I just got my car a week ago and I had to put air in every other day, then found out I wasn't putting in enough air. I then took it to the dealer and they aired it up to the specs. I only drove it once since Thursday but when I checked the pressure on the TPMS it showed all the tires went down 1 PSI each. The dealer told me that here in Colorado that the tires can fluctuate 3-5 PSI or even more because the weather can be 20 in the morning and 70 by afternoon and back to 20/30 by night. If it keeps going down I am taking it back to the dealer to make them find the leak.

That issue sounds like your TPMS sensors may not paired properly. I had some sensors on some after-market wheels that didn't work with my car. The light came on after 20 mins of driving. Have your dealer repair your sensors or you can do it yourself using the method described in your owner's manual.

I recently had a tire leak so slow, they could not find it the first two times I took it in, even though they dismounted it and visually examined as well. Third time around they found a very small nail just barely poking through to the inside. It has been fine since they patched it.
IMO, if your tire goes down within a few weeks, it has a leak somewhere. Good luck. |

Hey guys I took mine to the dealer a few weeks back. There's a bulletin on this. Apparently there is dirt that collects between the rim and rubbers that results in leaking. I was putting air in every 3 weeks or so. Not normal and I was using separate tire pressure reader to verify the low air.

My LR loses about 6-8 PSI over the course of a month. All the other tires are ok.
