Very nice and I love to see shops that are as clean as their installs.

Great pictures! Brings a new meaning to "clean inside and out."

damn that looks so sweet! but it's waaaaaay too much plumbing for me.

that seems like there'd be too many things that could go wrong initially and over long periods of time.

Today we headed over to LMR to get some quick baseline dyno numbers, using the preloaded 91 octane tune from Turbonetics, via the DiabloSport Predator they include in the LS3 kits (L99 cars use an SCT programmer).

With the complete bolt-on, plug-and-play setup, the car made 491 horsepower and 515 torque on the DynoJet. SAE numbers, at about 8-9 lbs of boost.

As far as street driving, the boost comes in nice and smooth, and pulls hard all the way to 6,000+ RPMs. Full boost comes in by about 3,000 RPMs, with peak torque from 4,000-5,000 RPMs, and holds boost all the way to the redline

Next week, we will be removing the stock catalytic converter pipes for some cat-delete pipes, making some other small changes, and the heading back to the dyno for a 93 octane custom tune. Can't wait to see what it makes with no cats and a more aggressive tune!

There were the BEST installation pictures of this kit (Not to mention the great installation itself). Turbonetics should License these pictures to be put part of this Kit's profile. I never knew the kit was designed and fit so nicely, until now.

Great job on both parties.
You'll see a nice surprise when you remove the cats and how soon the TQ comes on!

It's just too bad the turbo isn't closer to the Exhaust manifold to take advantage of the heat energy released from the engine. If the [single] turbo could be placed under the car, this kit would be even more superior.

Round 2 dyno session - 571 RWHP, 577 RWTQ, ~8psi

We are now using shorty headers and cat-delete pipes, and we've made some changes to the tune file.
And we're still keeping the tune a little conservative at this stage.

Here is the the new shortys, cat-deletes, and modified tune setup compared to the factory manifolds, cat pipes, and pre-loaded tune:

And for comparison, here is the new setup vs a stock LS3 Camaro on the same dyno:

Making progress! And much more to come!!

What brand of shorty headers fit this kit? I would be very interested in the Turbo kit and shorties if they are smog legal for me in Cali.

JBA shorties and cat-delete pipes. And the JBA shorties should now be 50 state smog legal too (CARB EO# D-57-25)

Right on!

Nice to know that the JBA's fit this Turbo kit. I was looking at this kit once I get my 416 done here in the next few months.
