Exhaust recommendation - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Soo I have a 2010 ls3 2ss and I'm looking for a recommendation on the best quality wise, performance wise, and sounding wise in everyone's opinion for the exhaust I'm going to look into and get asap!!! Thanksss

Huge fan of flowmasters! I'm a girl that was raised around muscle cars, street rods and car shows every weekend as a kid. I like that old school, deep rumble and flowmasters is the best IMO for this type of sound.

My personal favorite is the Stainless Works Retro Chambered cat back.

What series Flowmaster do you like? I'm looking into changing my muffler system.

There is a variety of options with different sounds so I would listen to some clips on U-Tube. I installed Kooks headers and Borla Stinger, ,which is not as raspy as the Atak.

I personally love my ATAK catback with ARH LT headers. Loud as heck at WOT, sounds amazing, but still tame at lower rpm's. Check online for various exhaust sound from others, but I would recommend meeting some people face to face to hear their systems. There are not many online videos that can accurately reproduce the real sound.

Also may sound like a stupid question but if I don't have cat then will it throw an engine light and if so is there a way to get rid of it? And or pass emissions?

LG long tubes and full 3" sounds incredible and the hp #'s speak for themselves.

Here is a short video of my 2SS with 40 Series Flowmaster mufflers installed. It shows how it sounded stock, then compared to the flowmasters. I also plan on uploading a drive by video as well. Hope this helps!

i have flowmaster cat back with SW lt headers/hi-flo cats, this bitch sounds wicked.

So many options out there...I chose Cherry Bombs Cat Back, was cheap and sounds great (like a V8 Should), the only thing I did not like was at first the pipes rubbed on the tunnel brace and caused drone in the cab, once spacers were added, this is the best sound for the money.

Look around on youtube, talk with other members and look at your budget. That should help you decide.
