Perfect Timing for Delivery!

Well after waiting since 10-26-09, I received my Aqua Blue Metallic, SS/RS, 6 spd. Camaro. Just in time to claim the sales tax on my income taxes
.
I had a couple of problems though, the first one is that I had to pick it up and drive it home after an inch of snow, getting it full of slush, salt, etc.

When I got it home, I pulled it into the garage and washed it. While washing it, I noticed a small flaw in the paint. (Enough to irritate me though). It is located on the D/S rear quarter panel, on the top left corner of the trunk opening, where the trunk meets the quarter panel. It's hard to describe but I attached a photo of it.

I called the dealer right away but of course my salesman has already left for the evening, so I left him a message. I hate having paint work done to a brand new car. Hopefully they could fix it without a problem.

So after I was done cleaning it, I put the car cover on and now it sits until spring. It's gonna be a long winter. [/IMG]

I would be upset also but that's in a good location that I bet w/ a little touch-up you won't notice it at all.

Beautiful color and car - congrats and Happy New Year!

Mine is going to be here in late February, early march which is perfect timming here in Jersey...... NO MORE SNOW by then hopefully.

I have to remind myself to inspect the car at the dealership before I fly out of there, just in case there a are any defects like this.

Congratulations on the car.

No way I would except using touchup paint for a repair on my brand spankin new car. Make them make it right. Still would like to kick GM in the nuts for killing that color. Beautiful.
