Clutch vibration to clutch is broke
Posted this in the transmission section but I think I'll get more responses here.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=401033 I picked up a vibration in the clutch that I can feel only through the clutch pedal. It's vibration is consistent with the RPMs and I can feel it by resting my foot on the pedal and all the way through max pedal travel. What are your guys' thoughts on what it may be. I'm suspecting throw out bearing or pilot bushing. Other than picking up this vibration, clutch has been working great.

I get a vibration noise when shifting at high RPM,s but everything works great. I have had this since new. I have not thought it was a big deal, but would love to hear more from others if they have the same thing.

no noise associated with mine. It's not even that big of an issue but since I just started having the vibration, I know something has changed or worn. I'd like to see if I can fix the issue before it became a bigger problem.

What usually causes the problem? And what kind of damage would I be looking at if it completely fails?

I too would like to know ... I have 6500 miles on my car with no abuse what so ever on it and I seem to have this same vib in my clutch pedal. It's very faint but never the less It's there. If it's heat what would cause that. I would think maybe slipping the clutch could cause heat but I never do that as it's not needed in my style of mild driving..

Well I do track it. Seems my clutch time has come like so many others. Lol. Do I just need the slave assembly to fix the issue? What are my options?

How many miles are on the car? I have 16k and 7 or 8 track days, with no issues yet (fingers crossed)

I'm well read up on everyone's clutch issues and am not seeking GM on this issue regardless of why it's failing. Biggest reason is I don't want the same parts again, obviously stock parts don't cut it.
