Glass Cleaning

Hey,
I have had my car a few years now and want to get the glass clean again. What do you use? It is going to need a little more the just glass spray. How do you get the deposits off the glass. Thanks for the help.

You can use a clay bar on your glass to get more of the stuck on contaminants off. Then use your favorite glass cleaner to follow up.

Yep... Clay for sure... follow up with glass cleaner, then to make it easier going forward a glass sealant helps a lot.

I'm with everyone on the clay bar and also look into Duragloss Nu-Glass which is a awesome product that cleans and polishes glass to a brilliant shine.

When I bought my car I had somekind of haze on my windshield. Looked like Armor All residue...Tried different product with no luck. Than I remember my grand-ma trick.

I took an onion, cut it in 2 parts and rubbed the glass with it. When it got dirty I cutted a slice and went on. Haze has gone and I do this every spring....

May you laugh, but give it a try!!!!

Bright side to this combo is that you will never have to use your wipers again

Another great tip is to wipe the inside Vertically or Horizontally and the opposite of which ever way you choose on the out side. Than you can fix streaks or spots you missed easily.

Although the Adams glass sealant is good, after 1-2 days here in Hawaii the sealant had pretty much worn off. I followed the video to a "T" and still 1-2 days I can tell the sealant is not doing as it did at first.

Griots makes a clay bar just for glass. It is very good.

I've heard and used Comet kitchen cleanser too ... the water beads right up after that.
