As I described in one of the PDF's here:

No worries. Just trim a little at a time until you get the fit just right!

On a dyno you will see something like:

Average HP gain: 5
Average TQ gain: 6

Peak HP gain: 5
Peak TQ gain: 7

This is in addition to your CAI. Sitting on a dyno there is very little air flow over the car, even with a wind machine you are very limited, so a dyno number does not give a realistic snap shot of the real world gains with a scoop. All I can say for sure is that it is noticeable.

Whoosh!

Car pulls much harder now, and sounds different too...

So I definitely recommend it!

I really have to get around to installing mine. It's been sitting around the house for close to a year.

Thanks,

It works with any intake system that has an open bottom, which is most of them. Roto-Fab included.

Good job OP on the DIY! Just got my Apex scoop and bottle relocate done and everything went pretty smooth! My Dremel was junk so I used a utility knife to cut the plastic for the scoop! Took about 5 min and came out neat! That horn bolt is a booger! Lol, I installed my included bolt from the back and put the included nut on the side where the OEM bolt was going in! Made it a lot easier for me!! Hope to try the system out soon! Still got it on jacks for more upgrades!

Yeah pretty bad here, literally drank 3 large bottles of Gatorade to do the job, Drove this am, and it's a pretty good combo, car feels great and pulls nice , I would highly recommend this combo, was a little worried about doing the washer bottle relo, but that came out perfect as well.
