For those with a Loudmouth 1/muffler delete
I've had a Loudmouth 1 for a few years now and periodically I get a loud rattling noise from the rear of the car when accelerating. It sounds like it comes from the passenger side and it sounds like metal vibrating on metal. I recently noticed that the tip was loose, so I tightened it thinking that might fix the problem, but it seems to have made it worse. Any ideas what it could be? Possible fixes?

Bump
I should also mention I have a 10' sub in the truck and I don't get the rattle when it hits. It is only when I accelerate. |
