Exhaust Question

Hey all,
We would like to upgrade our exhaust and our dealer said GM has come out with one, that does not mess up our warranty etc., but they can't tell me who makes it. They thought maybe Borla? I know I can get some other exhaust but they are are saying it could mess up the warranty. We just want a little better sound and a Cat back exhaust for my wife's 2SS/RS. Does anyone know who makes the GM one and have a place I can hear it on the computer.

Thank you,
Steve

Corsa makes some of their systems. I think there are hundreds of exhaust sound bites if you do a search. Other than replacing the CATs, I think no exhaust will void your warranty. Someone else can chime in there...I love my Zoomers exhaust!

i think it all depends on your relationship with your dealer i was at the dealer yesterday talking to him about exhuast , he said i could do a muffler delete or even elec cutouts and the only thing it would void would be exhuast IF.. something where to happen with the exhuast

As long as you only do from the Cat back it will not mess wioth your warranty. This is what my very very strict Dealer in Houston has said, and you can also put on a CAI they recommend oiless filter though. They told me that these modifications only allow the car to breath better. you can do this without a tune. Solo has a group buy for full cat back thats not too loud I have it on my 2SS and it sounds soo good. Very tight sounding and not annoying or overly loud. i love it. Go To Bolt ons and look for Solo Group Buy. Their very good customer service and they have built a very high quality system. I love it

Yes, I would definitely go with a Borla cat-back system....
You have the S type, which would be GMs "offroad"
And the "touring" which is only slightly less aggressive. Both have a deep sound, I would describe it as the way the car should have sounded from the factory!!

Hope that helps...If you need any more info let me know, I am always happy to help.

I would look into http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45646

Still eight slots available.
