Rear Park Assist Question
So I'm going to work this morning driving around 70 mph, and all of a sudden my lights go out and I loose power. Then it flashes check rear park assist, any insight to this? I pulled off the road and then it was fine but now I have a CEL.

Sorry to hear about your check engine light coming on and that displeasing situation while you were en route to work. Has this occurred before and are any engine modifications on your vehicle? William R. Chevrolet Customer Care

You might try asking this in the general discussion. I've never heard of that but I bet you get more views over there.

No, car lost all power this morning and the headlights went out on me while I was drivng to work @ 3:30am.I was able to get power and went to work. Driving home the car just quit altogether, pulled over and called for tow. Sat there for about 20 minutes and it started but went ahead and towed to dealership.

Ok, car is fixed. Seems I had like 8-9 codes, but it all stemmed from the security system in the car. Seems when the car was built they stripped a bolt in the fuse block that the security system was hooked to. Must have been wiring for the security, anyway now I have to pay to 319.80 to fix this???
They repaired the car without even calling me to let me know what the problem is either. |
