Happens to me every time I drive mine. Every kid in a V8 wants to race and its normally during rush hour. I try to ignor them but sometimes they catch me with a good tune on and I have to put them in their place

I normally drop the hammer.. get a few car lengths ahead (in a matter of seconds, if that) then slow down and let them go catch up and go flying by... with a look of "not worth my time"....

My story goes back 7 years but the voice of reason, coming from the Accord's back-seat, proclaimed: "Are you kidding, that's a Firehawk!?"

That's my M.O. as well. No need to actually "race" anyone and have any number of bad occurrences on my conscience. All that's necessary is to give them a brief glimpse at the power under the hood and then make sure they know that I *know* they aren't worth more than that.

I hate these people as much as the next guy but just because its a 4door honda doesn't mean it's slow. I had some kid pull next to me in a Scion wanting to race, you can hear the turbo every time he floored it.

yeah i get a lot of ricers with fart cans, older mustangs, and i even had a VW GLI trying to race me the other day. its really ridiculous i mean come on? your old POS fart canned ricer wanna be camaro against my real genuine 2010 camaro? lets get real here people. i mean when nicer cars pull up next to me..like...porsches,BMWs,mercedes,infinitis and such there is just a respect in the air and there is no reason to race. just admire the nice cars we have lol
