GM employee pricing

Okay, I keep hearing people talking and saying they will buy their Camaro at this price and that price and that it will be a little cheaper because of GM Employee Pricing. But when I go on the GM website it says they will be ending this Promotion on September 30th. Am I missing something or what? Are they bringing it back later on in the year or something?
Maybe CamaroScotty or FbodFather can chime in if nobody is knows?
Thanks,

Edit: here is the link if anyone wants to look aswell

I seriously doubt GM will offer employee pricing on the Camaro any time within the first 6 months of it's existance.

If they do I'll hop on one leg backwards to my Chevy dealer to buy it!

If that happens, will you post a video of that?

I think the people that are talking about GM employee price are either GM employees or GM dealership employees; both of whom should be able to get GM employee pricing (unless GM puts a restriction on the Camaro.) Some dealers may not honor GM employee pricing, however.

They offer it quite a bit actually. Or a version of it, normally near the end of the year when they are scrambling to get rid of the old vehicles. Most of the time its a dealer incentive though, and not directly from GM.

Who else is hoping they do offer the discount so we can see him hopping on one leg?

The GM employee's & family will be able to use their discount on the Camaro, (maybe not with the initial first arrivals)

But when the new C6 Corvette came out, ZO6, Solstice, Pontiac G8, Cobalt SS/TC's when all these new cars came out the employee discount was available...

Now if we're talking about GMS pricing available to the general public... who knows when that will happen again...

I'm not sure that a dealer could not give someone an employee discount or a supplier rate if they qualify for it. Could be grounds to lose your dealer license.

Employee Pricing for everyone is not going to happen again anytime soon. It was used to clear out the 08's and did its job. The last time we had it was 05.

GM is in pretty bad shape and when they need to move cars, Employee pricing is a great way to do it. But I'd be SHOCKED to see them offer it with the Camaro in the next two years. This car will move itself. They should be able to sell as many of them as they can make in the next two years. Why would they discount it ?

Some dealers choose not to participate. They are protected by franchise laws. In my view, they are stupid not to, but several don't.
