Ran the car last night on slicks for the first time...wow they are a little nerve racking on the big end. Car weighs 4400+ with me in it.(can't remember exactly)

It was 84* not bad for a Florida summer evening. I ran the 17" Bogarts with 28x10 Hoosiers with 14.5 psi. First pass was 1.65 60' my best with DR was 1.75. I made 5 passes and ended up doing better each pass. I got my best 60' down to 1.58 and my best ET was 11.13 at 125.7 I did lift for a split on the big end to get the car back in the groove it was getting really squirrelly.
I think with a 2 step to get my launch RPM consistant and some practice I will be in the 10's.

No screws in the tire and tubeless, they did move about .75-1" after 5 passes, so not enough for me to put screws in them just yet.

Congrats, I've always had some swaying with slicks, it's worse when you run the tires down around 10-12 psi.

I have a (6point) cage, blower, a speaker box with 3 10" subs (75-100 lbs), and I weigh 220lbs. The car is just under 4000 stock, with out a driver.

Congrats! You got 10's in her no problem. Seeing a 60ft like that makes me want slicks lol best i could pull was a 1.69 on DR's

From what I have read and I will try myself to see, but nothing under 14psi gained anything on 60ft times on the 17" Bogart /Hoosier combo and only made it worse on the big end as you said.

Good to meet you too, I think so I have to go off for work so it will be November for next time so it should be cooler out for sure and that should do it.

Who built your bar or where did you purchased it from?

I ave the RPM bolt in, its very nice...except they sent me the wrong door bars and I drilled the floor already and it didn't fit right so I kind of have a one off as they had to build me some custom foot plates and sandwich plates. I am also cutting the floor and inserting a box to do away with the sandwich plate and weld the box into the sub-floor and tie it all together under the car.
