First Gen RS package question

I get the head/taillight differences, what is the exterior body addition? Is it aluminum/chrome rocker panel moldings?

I'm looking to buy this '68 Z/28, non-RS. It has moldings below the rocker panels and I'm not sure they're supposed to be there. Was it an option to add these?

The RS has a 3 piece rocker trim. It is also black below that trim. The RS package also included some other things.

From CRG (camaros.org):

Rally Sport (Z22) was an appearance only option that was available on all models in 67-69. It consists of concealed headlights with a different grille and back-up lights under the rear bumper and included the Z21 style trim package...
...

The Z21 package could also be ordered separately.

Is that the Z/28 that has been for sale on the Penisula for a long time? Seemed like a good deal. Be sure to check the numbers to make sure it is real! Might want to post pictures of the numbers on Team Camaro (camaros.net) and get their opinion. That is if you are wanting a true Z/28 for an "investment" or collector (really getting what you think you are)... I can take an educated guess, as well. I forget what I thought about that car (a friend was looking)...

Here are pics of my 69 RS that might shed a little light. I do not know if the 68 RS has the same badges, etc or not.

The "tall" trim is '67. The '68s are "thin"... Same as non-RS except 3 pieces.

And I believe the pictures of the '69 above have a bunch of missing trim (Z21).?.?

Anyway, I think the orginal question she asked was if the molding on that Z is correct. It is...

It is missing some trim. I wanted to show what the grille and bumper lights look like.
