heard it. Overkill IMO due to the fact the rest of the system can't keep up. You'll just wind up upgrading everything else(all over again).

Cost me $780 total shipped to my door, and an hour to install, I am happy with that.
Where did you get yours from? Any pic. of the install? I was thinking of getting it and putting it in myself.

If you are not into competition speakers for thousands of dollars you can get these for $750-800 and they do sound very good and are plug and play. Sure many will say you can get better but, I think better will cost more and there is nothing wrong with the sound of these. They wont win a bass competition but they work very well with the factory setup. I am pleased with mine. Its all I needed and upgraded the factory bass immensely.

Thats all i'm looking for, did you install yourself? That would be sweet to get it for around $750, do you know who is selling them for that?

No, having an afterrmarket audio system installed cannot void your factory warranty.

Thank you also, I was looking @ the GM box because it was made to go with the fac. system, a matched set. I do understand what you are saying about I can get a more powerful system for about the same amount of $$$$. But I just don't need all of that bass for what I want or listen to.

I want a sub and amp but I really don't want to lose the pass-thru. Otherwise I would get the MTX.

I have a box that was made for the 3rd gen camaro with 2 12" Pioneer speakers in it and a 400 watt Pioneer amp that I was going to put in my 87 Iroc. They have been just sitting in my garage for about 4 years now. Does anybody know if I could just hook that up to my 2010? That way I dont have to buy anything.

I ordered the MTX kit (and SS cover). I am curious to see how it sounds.
