I spaced each washer 5 1/4 inches from each other and 2 inches back from the front edge of the splitter. Of course, the splitter washers can be installed closer to the front of the splitter or in any custom configuration. For me, this will work best for the angle of my driveway and the way that I pull into and back out of the driveway.

Here are the splitter washers and screws as Skylane765 sent them to me- there are 15 of each.

Yes, you're right...but, I didn't want them so close to the front edge to where I could see them too easily when looking at the car from the front...

And, my driveway angle will allow the washers to work/protect in this position.

The beauty of these is that you can install them in any configuration.

IMO they would snag and be ripped out easily due to their sharp edges.
