They mentioned this while I had it in for top service this morning. Never had any problems with it (although I only used the AC twice.)

Check SUX2BU's thread titled (something to the sort of) Convertible top rub/wear marks... its quite a lengthy and in-depth thread. Basically, early run verts had a plastic bracket held by 2 screws installed incorrectly causing the top to press against the screws when down and damage the top, leaving significant marks on the top particularly near the passenger side window. (Pix in Sux thread.) A TSB came out June 2 detailing the repair of this issue. Im in the waiting room right now, they're ordering a new top and any replacement parts necessary as well as fixing the AC issue also.

BODIH, I would need the last 8 of your VIN to check it over. Or you could send me the whole thing in a direct message and I could let you know that way if you'd like. Either way works for me!

I called my dealer today and asked about the air conditioning recall. After looking my vin # up I was advised i needed to bring the car in for the service. When was GM going to notify me?

I had mine taken care of today! Our salesman has been awesome with everything! Also I got my bow ties replaced with the "SS" emblem! Love it! Will post a pic of it when after I give her a bath!

Got the letter and took it in.
I hadn't run the air conditioner yet so I don't whether its better or not.
Figured I'd actually turn on the air conditioner after the service and it seems to work good, even with the top down

I haven't had any problems, but did get the recall notice this week. I'll be taking her in sometime soon.

I got the letter last week and took it in today for fix. Also, I am getting top replaced for puncture marks and broken strap holding top to frame.

Jeff,

Are there any symptoms? I swear my a/c doesn't blow near as cold as it should. Even on recip and on full high it never freezes me out and takes 20 minutes of highway driving to get comfortable. My last 7 digits of VIN are 9134800. I have not received a recall yet though.
