I've read of people using them. What's so special about them? Are they good for boost applications for some reason? Or nitrous specific?

The silver seems to be a good conductor. Can't speak for boost, but ideal for Nitrous applications. RR14s are what Rick and I use

I've been using the Brisk LGS spark plugs in my vehicles for around 10 years now, really like them. For forced induction you can get version that have a "-T" at the end of the part number and they have a smaller preset gap.

Hmm thanks for the info... I've always just run NGK plugs, but never owned a Nitrous equipped vehicle, or forced induction vehicle.

RR14s are a great nitrous plug, retracted tip and colder than factory. Brisk states good for medium shots of nitrous ( 100 - 200 ) and good for mild to medium boost ( up to 10 PSI )
