Ported intake manifold

Do you guys know what kind of place I can take my intake manifold to get ported? And what are the gains if I keep the stock TB and CAI?

Did you not see the thread a few posts down from this one, cleverly named "porting a stock LS3 intake"?

There are "performance" intakes on eBay by Gm that will give 7hp. If used with a stock TB you lose 7hp. If you add an exhaust you gain 7 hp but then lose 7hp as it exits the tail pipe so your net gain is ....,.hang on I'm adding and subtracting.....
Wait What was the question again?? Ported CAI's?? Yep they work!

We offer porting services of the ls3 intake manifold and throttle body. Have had quite a few independent test done and on stock cars have seen upwards of 10.2 rwhp gains w/ just the manifold.

The norm has been 8-9 rwhp with independent testing. This has been done in az w/ 91 octane in the summer btw. On cammed cars we have got over 15 rwhp multiple times with the norm being around 17 rwhp.

What is the price if I ship the intake to you?

Funny you mention that we have tested it on a ls3 vette with a t-trim with a decently aggressive pulley setup and he picked up 23 rwhp and around 27tq.he dropped 1/2 lb boost because of being less restrictive. I will say this is the only boosted car we did before and after testing on. So I won't promise this type of gain but I would expect around this to be fair.

Would the port job create an even leaner burn in the #7 cylinder?

No we have these manifolds on very high hp cars with absolutely zero issues

Thanks, was thinking if some of material was removed in the "center" of the intake, that it would make a straighter path.

Cool, I'm also thinking of a BBK 95mm TB, along with meth. So I'll be in touch after Thanksgiving.
