I then pick up some appearance parts. GFX kit off member here, but doesn't have the front splitter. Never used, so I buy it. I call a buddy who works at a GM place and find out how much a splitter is. OUCH. Forget it. But, he has as Heritage grille in SIM that's a good deal. Buy! I look around on Camaro5, no one as one. But then I find some guys putting on some parts off a company called ACS. They have a new splitter (T4) that I like even better. Not only that, I love the bumper ports and they have a ZL1 replica hood insert...Score! Wait, he's Canadian, I get everything in a few days. Now I know what you Americans feel like getting stuff so fast.

One day my buddy was looking through a local website and saw someone who had NIB Eibach pro lowering springs. He calls them up and buys it or me same day and drops it off at my doorstep. Now the wife is wanting to know what's up. I take her out for dinner and explain how I've always wanted to do something like this. Make a car all mine. A head turner. She says "go do it, never know what's gonna happen" but...gotta use some of the investment cash for family. No prob, cruise vacation her we come.

A few weeks go by, and I was looking brought the sponsors wheels for sale section and see 2 rims I like. TSW Mirabeau and Niche Apex. I pm both on shipping. Man, talk about expensive. Not only that, I have to pay duty. I talk to my long time friend here locally who owns a tire place. He does his magic and the TSW where not available (and too expensive), but Niche Apex are available. A week later...

I get 20X10 275-40-20 for fronts, 20X10.5 315-35-20 for rears with Nitto Invos. Rings, TPMS sensors, chrome lugs all in. Boys these are nice.

Then a big break happens. By pure luck, a member her (you know who you are and thank you again) has a NIB SLP TVS2300 for sale. New model. Now I'm in a dilemma. This is big bucks. Not only that, sending that kind of cash via Paypal is risky. A few hundred bucks lost, whatever. A few grand, my wife will shoot me. My mod'in would stop. I pm, and we tart texting. Come to a deal where he understands and sends me pics as he's shipping with my shipping company. I send cash and after 2 weeks (stupid customs holding it for clearance)....

I think I have everything I want now. Wrong. I see a member here who put on the ZL1 rear spoiler. Luv it, gotta have it. Call good friend up at GM, Orders it, I pick it up in a week. Now I have everything. What to do. Appearance mods 1st, performance 1st. I go out for lunch with my friend who bought me my lowering spring (yes, I pay or lunch) and we discuss. He's mod'in his 2012 Sierra HD diesel, so we are both enjoying our projects and advice. He comes up with a great plan. While my parts are getting painted, I can get my performance done. Excellent. I call my OTHER GM friend who is a mechanic. He talks to his boss, and he lets us use the shop for the weekend. F***'in lucking out. My buddy says lets go hard, install everything. SC, intake, headers, HFC, exhaust, lowering springs, Hawk brake pads, Hurst short throw shifter. Really, long hours here we come.

I call tune shop up, book me in for the Monday after install weekend. Ship all the parts to paint to my uncle, and bring all the performance parts to my GM buddy's workplace. We are a go. Friday comes, take wife out on date night. Wake up early Saturday, here we go....
