Ethanol Free Gas Locations in TX

Here's a website that lists stations that sell ethanol free gas. It's a user driven site so and texas has less than 30 locations added. If you know where some stations are that sell non ethanol gas add it to the site.

it's only good for the environment... not so good for a performance engine. that's why the dealer should have told all new camaro owners to put 93 gas in the cars. tisk tisk.

We lose approx. 1% MPG with each percent of ethanol in our gas. Not sure what kind of performance hit, but I'm sure there is one. And, its very difficult to find gas in central Tx w/o the standard 10% ethanol - but you can tell because the pumps that have it are required by law to have warning stickers.

Got a bad tank

I filled up at a Shell in Ft. Worth with 10% ethanol in their 93 and the difference is staggering. I had been commuting back and forth from Waco getting around 28 mpg in my SS then when I got that tank it dropped to around 19-21 cruising at only 65-70. Keep in mind 96 degree heat but still... My L99 is really sensitive to the ethanol and I notice quite a large performance difference as well. Im wondering if a fuse pull will be necessary after this tank is cycled through.
And the Exxon across from Baylor campus is where I fill up and my car like

How can they legally sell gas with 10% ethanol in it at the same price as gas with no ethanol in it?

And, how can gas have 10% ethanol in it if it's still 93 octane?

I don't know but I'm sure the gas companies are loving to charge us for the 93
And they sleep better knowing they're doing good for the environment

I just dyno'ed 385 at the wheels on gas from the Chevron in Round Rock TX. On the corner of 79 and sunrise. I'll check tomorrow if I can find out if it has ethenol in it.
If it does, I'll find somewhere that does not and re-dyno my car, and see if I pick up any hp.

Just checked, it has a sign on the pump that says up to 10% ethanol.
Wish I'd noticed that sign before I used that gas to baseline my car. It could have 0% ethanol one time, then 10% the next.

Yea the Texaco in Cresson Texas on Motorsports Ranch on HWY377 goes from 10% ethanol to regular every now and then.
