They will have to be cut and welded in to your current system as they are universal.

I have them in stock they just came in Yesterday.

Ted.
Shall I be the first to try this set out? Would be more than happy to provide feed back on how they hold up.

PM me the details of cost and manufacturer of these cats and how you think they will work with my set-up. As you know I am going for install next week of the maggie and would be very interested in upgrading the HF cats at that time. Will probably put me over budget for the build but would be worth it if I know that these cats will not melt and allow me to pass DC inspection.

And I assume I would need updated tune if I do go with these cats?

Thanks for all the work and info you provide Ted for us on Camaro5 who rely on vendors like yourself to help steer us in the right direction concerning these cars.

But those failed on you correct? I did not see any ceramic cats on the SLP online store under the 2010 Camaro section, and none that mentioned supporting supercharged cars.

This is what I see. Not sure if they will hold up. I emailed SLP some questions.

Any updates on the high flow aftermarket cats for blown cars??? Kinda surprised that no one has posted anything about this in a month since it seems like a big deal for a lot of people here.
Still no issues with ARH's Hiflow Cats. Mid 650's rwhp after 6k+ top end mod (16+ after FI ARH Headers,Cats install at 520+ rwhp) Will be checked again here in a few weeks.

....And how much boost you're running/margin of safety in the tune for the engine vs margin of safetly for the cats which are way less expensive to replace.

The METH is a Great Coolant for the Cats.

Remember Fuel Cools the Cats to keep them from Melting

Fuel pumps that can't keep up and injectors that are Just big enough to meet the power goals will not allow enough fuel for COT to work Properly.

COT Needs to be able to drop the AFR to 9.8:1 to cool the Cats, IF there is enough injector and fuel pump to support that much fuel demand.

In order to have 11.5:1 AFR For an entire Quarter mile or longer COT would have to be turned off or have a MAXED out the fuel supply with it On were it can't reach COT Fuel demands.

So the only way it is the Tune and everything else is Right, is IF COT is turned off.

We never turn it off with Cats in place.

Why are the cats getting so Hot?

2 reasons, they are too small for Supercharged Apps and the fuel supply is not capable of supporting COT Fueling.

Ted.

what ever brand arh uses for cats are pretty decent... i havent had much issue with the cats coming apart with theirs, that is not to say it wont happen. In addition running meth really reduces the EGT's
