Lemans Blue and put it to bed.
If you look at the vettes, its always black and then red being most popular.
When they add Lemans blue, like they did in 2004, the Lemans blue sells more than the black and reds. Pretty clear that car people love lemans blue.

I agree. I just don't like the gaudy, loud shades like Jet Stream or Admiral Blue. The car doesn't need the shockingly bright neon colors on it.

Most people that are judging ABM and IBM have never even seen one in real life. Pictures on a computer screen from a digital camera are never going to be the same as your eye. Very few people have calibrated the color of their monitor properly and fewer people yet have a calibrated camera.

That being said, dozens of people have approached me and told me they had no idea that IBM looked this good.

Many "regular" people (not Camaro folks) have said how beautiful the color is.

Very interesting and logical argument for the color choices in respect to the visible light spectrum.

Once I saw the lazer blue Tahoe in person, I fell in love
My wife wouldn't let me get it though

Have to agree. I was walking to my parked IBM yesterday at the Target parking lot (I park far away!), color in the AZ sun took my breath away.

I havent been able to take a pic yet that comes close to what it looks like in person.

I have seen both in real life, owning and IBM, and seeing many ABMs at car shows and in town. Not trying to bash either one, just to me neither is a true blue. Thinking back to all of the blue cars I have owned over the years (7 I think) these 2 Camaro blues would have to be my least favorite. JMO

I would love for GM to bring out a medium metallic blue for 2012. If not, I'll be getting a white one.

My mother had a 68z that my father painted corvette Targa Blue. It was slightly different than this because he sprayed a different color base coat underneath it. Name: 1972-Chevrolet-Corvette-1.jpg

What really makes alot of these colors pop, is the metallic in them. So to me I'm hoping they can throw a little metallic in the next blue, whenever that is.

Love my ABM, although in dim or cloudy lighting it can appear a bit dull and tealish. I'm not a huge fan of that either, but when you get some decent lighting on her she really shines...and tru blue at that. Just check out my sig pics....thats how she pops in the sun!

Now for me, I really loved the Striker Blue (I think it was called) on the Pontiac G8s. That would have been my color forsure.

It does pop in the sun, no doubt. The first car I test drove was a 2SS ABM. But...then I saw the teal...and that was that. Just didn't do it for me. The IBM does look great, but mine is a daily driver, so I knew it would pick up dirt almost as well as black. So, I went SIM. Someone should start a new blue poll with pics.
