I guess if you have to run the lower gas, like a 91 then you can just add a octane boost to help.

Higher elevations don't require octane as high as 93.
Since there is a lower atmospheric pressure of air going in, the pressures in the cylinders don't get as high, which (not witch) means no detonation. Higher octane fuel burns slower, so going to too high an octane can actually decrease performance if you don't increase your (not you're) timing. Stay with premium for your area. |

Some 93 octane gasoline brands contain ethanol. It will be listed on the gas pump if it contains ethanol. If it is straight gasoline without ethanol I think all the different brands are the same quality.
