Yeah I know that part lol. I'm in the car now I'm going to uploa some pics of the screen.

I went to config/radio settings/software versions menu. I have a couple of things here, one of which is a "update radio software" option.

There is a bunch more, I didn't want to post a picture of all of them it seemed like a lot of scrolling. What more

WTF??? Do you have a windows mobile phone?? If not you must have some newer SW on mylink that we dont. I have NEVER seen that. And the camera POI should be in the nav/map settings, listed as security cameras.

Nope, iPhone 5.

And I don't have "security cameras" as a POI option.

Just wanted to update, I went out to my wife's car with my neighbors iPhone 4S. I synced the Bluetooth and tried to get Siri to come up with the steering wheel controls. I pressed and held the talk button and nothing happened. However if I press and hold the home button to make Siri come up like normal on the iPhone, the audio transfers to the car.

In my camaro, I don't have the MYLINK, and in order to get access to my iPhone 4 phone book, I need to press the button on the steering wheel and when the prompt says "Ready" I need to say "Voice". Then after it will say "Ok Voice...Accessing IPhone". Then I hear the voice command beep and I can say whoever I want to call.

Sorry to steer in the wrong direction briefly, I am curious if anyone with a non MYLINK has to do the same thing in their camaro.

That's how it works on the non mylink.

Just discovered that the entire MyLink software is done through various Open Source projects - which means, somewhere on the Internets, is a directory of the MyLink firmware/software versions.

Ugh...we need to locate it! Updates without the dealer would be aweesome. Ford has this right, just go to the web, download update, flash, done.

See the OP - they built the hardware for MyLink. Panasonic then provides the software/firmware.

Right!
We have to find them (if they exist)
