try: Fold down the back seats and pull the trunk release from inside the trunk.. shut trunk again and see if that fixes it.

My trunk does it as well.. I found if you push down on the center of the spoiler and hit the button again it opens

It's common it seems...have to make sure the trunk is really closed tight and latched good to begin with or else it does this.

I think you need to have them readjust the latch components. There might be screws back there. Just guessing. Not a big deal covered by warranty.

But that should not be the fix, when I press the button, my trunk should open on it's own and it doesn't, not everytime anyway.

It did seem to improve if I shut my trunk harder the previous time.

Still going to have it checked out this week.

The answer is....... take to the dealer and show them the issue and let them fix it right! After all.... it's still under warranty!

If you guys are pushing down on the trunk lid and it works, take it to the service dept and let them adjust the latch. I wouldn't ever push on the spoiler.
