I'll take care of that soon.

Probably should just PM the guy. If you dont get a response you may want to checkout some of his posts. There are some interesting debates about it in the other thread.
I look forward to your NPP vs Std test, and hope it can be performed on similar weather days. People underestimate the effect air quality can have on dyno results.

Agreed!.....I am wordy so I cut my post short, but that is also a factor....

There is not reason the 1LE should be faster than an SS and more reasons it should not.

dyno'd mine yesterday on a buddies dynojet.

Bone stock,
950 hard break-in miles w/"high octane fuse reset"
Standard exhaust

391.91whp/380.15wtq

Kooks stepped headers and Kooks exhaust w/hi-flow cats are on their way
I'll re-dyno once they are installed and tuned

The 1LE is no faster than a non-1LE SS.

However there are some drivers who are faster in 1LEs than most other drivers in thier 1LEs.

I got down to 13.2 stock after about 60 runs. Time for DRs and mods.

Put the 1LE on the dyno today, SW headers, plastic k&n cai, no tuning changes. No cool down from driving all day. 409/409 so I woild say 400+ stock is a stretch. Car was 13.6 afr and -6 degrees timing. Needs a tune.

I should add, this was with winter wheel setup, gray factory 20's and pirellis, not 1le wheels. Also car has npp and no cats. 109x miles.

409rwhp and 404 ftlbs. Mostly stock except CAI and Vmax. No tune, or anything else other than NPP with fuse pulled. That is around 476 at the crank, even being generous and having CAI and vmax add 25hp still means 450ish so they are under rating them.

This was a group meet, so over a dozen other cars were dyno'd as well. That day other stock cars were putting out typical numbers so I tend to believe the numbers (really surprised me thou)

AirRaid cold air and 400 rwhp

Just recently got my 1LE tested at the AirRaid company here in Phonenix. They installed their latest air intake in my otherwise stock 1LE with about 5500 miles on it.
This is high altitude phoenix on approximately a 75 degree dry day.

400 RWHP, I think thats pretty damn good.

Oh Yes it was a Mustang dyno.

Yes, it has NPP. I have said it before and I'm not talking about drag strip times where the close ratio gearbox might actually hurt 1/4 mile times.

I have driven quite a few stock SS's and this car feels more powerful.

Either way now I have a baseline for my mods.

Did they do a baseline prior to the install?....I would assume they would have to in order to show the increase.

2013 1LE NPP STOCK 391/391

Dynoed within hours of another 2013 1LE and a 2014 SS. All three were within 2 hp.

Looking back at the logs I believe it would have made a little more power had there been a third pull.

Timing was less than I expected. I attribute that to lower temps.

And by "stock" I mean just as I drove it off the dealer lot plus 2700 miles of sensible, but hard break-in and factory oil.
