No visibility problems here. Makes everything else feel like a fishbowl/popemobile after driving a 5th gen camaro.

Coming from a 4th Gen, it wasn't much of an adjustment visibility wise. The nose is shorter on the 5th though, so I find myself stopping shorter than needed sometimes.

It took me some getting used to but the only issue I have is sometimes backing out of parking spots - that C-pillar is huge.

Agree...my only complaint as well, but it is not that big of a deal. I regret not getting the back-up camera, but had never had one at the time the car was ordered. Now, having used my wife's in her Avalanche, I really like them. Again, it is not a big enough deal form me to do anything about.

To be fair my girlfriend says the same thing about having problems with a decent driving position in my car

To be fair, the visibility in the new Mustang is pretty comparable to the 5th gen Camaro's, and it's not gonna get any better with modern safety laws.

It seems a lot of new Camaro drivers are used to more headroom and so they immediately lower the seat too much in order to achieve more clearance. Try this: Place your fist on top of your head and raise the seat bottom vertically until your fist just touches the headliner. Now set the fore and aft and steering wheel to your personal comfort. Try this setup for a day or two, and I think you'll like it.

Also, a lot of drivers don't really know how to adjust their side mirrors properly no matter what they are driving. In the Camaro, it is especially critical, as you MUST use the mirrors for lane changes. My SS is my DD and I've been driving "pony cars" for over a decade (2 Camaros and 2 Mustangs). Barely turn my head when lane changing, and can't remember the last time someone honked at me when changing.

If you are used to using the side mirrors there really are no blind spots. It hasn't been an issue for me at all, however I understand that it might be for others.

visibility is not a issue for most camaro owners. give it another shot though. the first time i was in one i was looking at a gto at a dealer and the car happened to be unlocked. i hated it. it was a '10 inferno orange with fetching interior. the dash gave me the feeling of a 80s truck. cam back to it a few years later and one came home with me.
