I would never have expected numbers like that from a Hyundai, Kudos to them for kicking up their game.

Ah! The Korean G8GT getting it on! I wondered when someone was going to find out about this car.

Good job! Still its no problem for any ss, 5.0 or old srt8. This thing weight 4000lbs, 0-60 is 5.1s. It cost 47+k and its ugly.

Now they need to restyle girlish genesis coupe to smth like FT-86 and put this babe in it. Will be a piece of art.

You really are on the wrong forum, but you've been told this time and time again don't seem to care. So I guess we give up...

If the bold is true, then it doesn't look that Hyundai should be any problem.

So, it looks like Ford's 5.0 is better than Hyundai's 5.0.

Here's the full test. 0-60 in 5.3, 1/4 mile in 13.5 @ 105.2. But hey that's edmunds, so it may actually be a low 13s car if they got those numbers.

They do good burnouts with lots of tire smoke.

Since when is a 365whp DOHC direct injected 5.0L V8 something to turn your nose up at?

I think respect should be given where it is due. Hyundai has come a long way in a very short amount of time; and, the 5.0 Tau is putting out some good numbers. They may not be AS good as some others; but, it's also sitting in what's supposed to be a fluffy luxury sedan.
