QTP Electric Exhaust Cutouts Pictures and Videos!!!

We had a 2010 Camaro SS come in to our warehouse to for some product development and before it left we put some of our Oval Low Profile Electric Exhaust Cutouts on. The Camaro is so quiet with the factory system in place that you question if the car is running or not. With our cutouts on there is no question. Flip the switch and all hell is unleashed.

Our new oval low profile electronically controlled exhaust cutouts. A new low profile electric cutout designed for any car or truck that has limited ground clearance. With the Quick Time Electric Cutout you can have the best of both worlds! Quiet for the street and wide open for the strip. Go from stealth quiet to wide open power and experience the gains even if your already enjoying an aftermarket exhaust system. You control the volume, you control the power. Open your exhaust with the flip of a switch. Run it closed, run it all the way open or any position in between.
• -Fits 2 1/4" to 3" Round Exhaust Pipe.
• -Low Profile Design
• -CNC 6061 Aircraft Aluminum Body
• -Stainless Steel Butterfly Plate and Shaft
• -6061 Aircraft Aluminum Motor Plate
• -High Torque DC Gear Driven Motor (1 1/2 Ft lbs TQ)
• -Custom Illuminated Toggle Switch or Optional Controller
• -Weather Proof Connector w/gold plated contacts
• -Made In the USA

Gained 18hp and 17tq at 5500rpm.

Now for the videos!!!

We also have another video on our website that has a little music and shows how it was installed but its not on youtube. They bounced the video because of the music for some reason.
Its here on street fire.
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...ric_700654.htm

Also have all the oval cutout videos on our oval page.

Part number:
QTEC66-Dual Oval Electric Cutouts
11338-Oval Turn Downs
10200-Optional Electric Cutout Controller

Any muffler shop can weld them on the car. The wiring is very easy.

You should see these on many high end cars like The Nickey Camaros and other super cars.

These are in stock and ship out with in 24-48hrs. No wait time.

I actually heard and saw this car in person after an automotive meet at OBI in Long Island, NY. One of our fellow car club members has both a Solstice and a Camaro, and one of his Camaro buddies came to meet us at a diner for breakfast. This car sounds mean. The cutouts looked great and sounded fantastic. The owner was telling us about dropping his car off at your shop and having this done, and he was very pleased with the results. The controller looked very simple to use, and the difference between the OEM sound and that with the cutouts open is dramatic. The flexibility between quiet and loud is a very nice feature to have, especially if you use the Camaro as a daily driver. Very nice product and I was impressed with the sound...and a little jealous.

The difference is night and day. I will have Joe post his impressions of the cutouts.

Hey Guys, This is my car that QTP worked on. It is amazing. The looks I get with the car alone are amazing. Then as soon as I hit the switch, it takes it to another level. There are a few people here on the site that have seen and heard my car and they said the same. I at first was not going to do this to my stock exhaust, I was going to wait until after their exhaust was complete and then do it all, but as soon as I heard their Shop Vette, there was no way in hell I was not going to have them put these on. I do not have headers or aftermarket exhaust. This is the stock exhaust with just the cutouts.
Only one word can describe:

WOW

because they are different setups.

QTP system are exhaust cutouts
the Noweeds system is an exhaust diverter

the Noweeds system fully blocks off the back end of the exhaust and only allows the flow to go out at the valve opening.

the QTP system doesnt block off the rest of the exhaust, just opens up and allows it to exit earlier

I have QTP's on my 69 Chevelle...they work great and are alot better than laying on your back in a asphalt parking lot trying to undo hot wing nuts on a manual cutout! Not to mention they are real handy when a cop rolls up on you.

Okay, would somebody who is savvy on exhausts please tell me why I don't want to buy these? This seems like an awesome solution with a stock exhaust versus upgrading the whole exhaust especially if the HP claims are true. I'm serious, why does this sound too good to be true? Also, what would it realistically cost to have a good muffler shop install this?
