RADAR DETECTOR PLACEMENT
I just bought my forth law biding gizmo today.I bought the Passport 9500 ix...it goes along with my S-2 ,X50 blue face and a 995.I do have a few vehicles.I was planning on placing the ix on the visor with a hard wire kit.....and then snoopin around I found this.....
http://radartest.com/article_2.asp?articleid=100583 ....you may be a tad surprised after you read this article....I have always preferred a high mount...but maybe I better re think it....lets just see where this goes.  Aparently ,low is much better for laser detection.
