Real clean, there was a car here at Cars and Coffee on Saturday that had some real smooth work done on the mail slot.

Looks great man!

I'll try to get some later today. I bought a V-6 front fascia cut out about a 2' pc and welded it in. Felt a little better about doing it like this rather than just filling in the slot.

humm, it is cool but see the cars both ways I kind of miss the mailslot. Kind of odd I thought it looked funny with both but I guess it grew on me.

Nice work and the hood looks great. But to me, it looks like a V6 with a fancy hood now.

Looks great! I don't think it looks like a V6, the mail slot and the hood scoop would look redundant anyway. Not sure how you "welded" in a plastic piece in though...

Thank you for not having a double intake. No offense to those that do, but if you have an intake on your custom hood... then cover up the mail slot!
