Thanks. I've got a few other mods they are going to install at the same time.
LS7 throttle body
Lingenfelter intercooler reservoir
Cooler logic heat exchanger
I also bought a set of nitto nt05r drag radials ( 315/35R20). I was trying to get 2 factory rear black rims but gm has them on constraint. If I can't get them by May I'll have to take off my street tires. Shouldn't be to many mustangs getting by me at castrol this year!!

I only do my own work. Only thing I might get done is a clutch somewhere as I won't have any tools to do it soon. But I'm still weary if letting a shop do that:(

I could do all my own work to. I'm a heavy duty mechanic by trade. When I get time off the last thing I want to do is look at any tools!! I doubt a dentist goes in on Sunday to do his own root canal. Besides I'm having the camshaft and valve springs changed and require special tooling. It's not just any shop, check out their website. I'm very particular and from what I've heard and seen i trust them completely. I want all the mods done at the same time so it only has to be tuned once.

Alberta performance shops

That's interesting because I'm a het as well, and love wrenching on my car on days off. Or even on work days before night shifts. I even just finished a cam install and springs haha! now a supercharger! Plus davenports a fair bit f a drive for me to go to, as I think they would be the only ones I'd want to do the clutch if I don't do it myself. If you do decide to do it yourself I have a very slick valve spring compressor for the ls3 to do with heads on.

Notice I said not to many mustangs and didn't say no mustangs. I was thinking about your car when I said that. LOL. Should be a lot of fun. I took your advise and just went with the cat deletes.

Like I say to each their own I guess, after 24 days straight of work that's the last thing I want to do for my four days off. I've got the cash I'll just let them do it and enjoy my days off. Are you close to Edmonton? Do you take your car to the track? BTW I have a set of valve spring compressors, but they're for a CAT 3500 series engine LOL

LOL The only track we have around here is Franklin Avenue during rush hour. Lots of swerving then.

Theres a place in Stony Plain called the Iron Garage. The have new and old school cars in there and sound like they know there stuff. I told them I just want to slowly mod my Zl1 year to year and they suggested KOOK headers and high flow cats to start. Said they would add 40 rwhp and torque and wont need tune. Has anyone heard of them or looked into pipe only mods ?
