Buying a ZL1...mileage?
What would you guys think is a safe amount of miles on a used ZL1?

There are so many variables. I would only buy from the original owner, NO modifications, and original paint. And under 10,000 miles if I wanted a used car. I always thought a used muscle car is asking for trouble though.

I bought a gm exec. Drivin 2013 zl1 w 5900 miles on it two years ago, great car great price! Happy as a pig in shit with it! Good luck with ur search

Depends on what you have to spend. I have a black on black ZL1 for sale for $35k how ever is has 33k miles on it

I always like to stay with 5000 or less miles. I prefer stock but if there is a few tasteful bolt ons ,then even better.
As far as it being a mistake for buying a used muscle car? Thats some bull, it's a car not a flower. If anything your ten times smarter then the guy who just paid 15k more for his new one that is exactly the same car as yours with a few thousand miles on it. Comes down to common sense if you ask me. It's up to your pocket book....
The lower miles the better but you can find some sweet deals on high mile ZL1's.... These cars are rock solid so even if people beat on them the hold up better than any other 5th Gen Camaro model out there.

I'd be more worried about mods and what it was used for then mileage. If I had to pick i'd buy the car with more mileage that was driven to work then the car with half the miles that was always at the track.
