Air Conditioning Not Cold/Blowing Hard Enough

I do not know if this is an actual problem but my air conditioning just isn't cold enough. I live in South Florida and its summer so it is HOT. Now I just don't agree with the "its summer its hot outside your car is going to take a while to cool down", because I have been in my friends cars that are also black on black (not american made nissan altima, mazda cx-9) and their air conditioning works fine. We have all these mods for performance and all these interior/exterior cosmetic options. Is there anything we can do to make the air colder and/or blow out harder? Im tired of being drenched in sweat after a 5 minute ride. Let me know what you guys think on this one as it would be greatly appreciated.

Take it in and make sure your AC system is charged all the way. There was a thread a little while back where many people's AC system wasn't fully charged from the factory.

No problems here on either car ... Helps to use the "Recycle" so your not trying to cool outside air ...

Also, make sure you turn the "snowflake" button on..or the air blowing out will not be cold!! I had to learn that!

This car has the coldest air I have felt out of any car that I have owned. I also live in Florida and I rarely have it at its lowest setting.
On a similar note, I heard that you should not use the recycle button and run the A/C with windows closed after getting into your car in the summer because of high concentrations of noxious chemicals released from the interior.

Yea, mine is ICE cold. Take it to your dealer.

I've noticed on some cars that if you use the recirc button, it's gets colder and also blows harder.

My girls jetta is this way.

Mine was ice cold but the dealer had a TSB and reprogrammed the A/C. It's still cold but not as good as it was.

Yeah..saddest part of that..It was my 15 year old daughter who doesn't even know how to drive...
I was freakin out "oh my GOD..I just got this car..the air doesn't work..blah...blah..she was like.."Um...mom, calm down... I think you need to push THAT button..ya know, the one that looks like a snowflake?"
Lo and behold she was right!!! LOL!!! and I'm not even blonde....
Honestly I was a bit overwhelmed when I first got the car, I was afraid to push any buttons!! But I'm good now...really!!
