Don't get any fluid on the calipers. Brake shop bled the ones on my Evo and got it all over them. Instant paint peeling.

Is there something special you found in the factory service manual that states which sequence to do the bleeding? I am not referring to the inner and outer bleed screws. This would be the first car I ever heard of not doing the brake caliper that is farthest, second farthest, third farthest and then fourth farthest. IMO the sequence should be RR/LR/RF/LF.

It's common to start furthest away from the master cylinder and work closer. I always do it based on the location of the abs distribution block though which is often on the opposite side of the car. I don't know if there is conventional wizdom top to bottom, but I do top first since it seems in, my feeble mind, would get the bubbles on the top out first. Might be wrong about that though.

This isn't a "new" procedure for the Brembo system. Look at step #16... Oh, one more thing, the same sequence is listed for Cadilac CTS-V (under the FAQ's).

I bleeded my Brembos in the conventional way when I changed out the brake lines with no ill affects. I try it the right way when I install the the roll control.

Speed Bleeders have a built in check valve. No need to do the open-close, open-close routine. You crack them open and pump the brakes until there are no bubbles in the drain tube and then you simply reclose/tighten them. Makes it SOOOOOO much easier!!!!!!!
