5th gen Camaro V6 value
Hi Camaro peoples,
I am not sure if this has been discussed in another post, so if it is, please forgive me. I have been wondering about the fate of the 5th gens as the new 6th gens begin manufacture. Since the 6th gen will have a turbo 4 as the base engine and the V6 as an option, would current 5th gen Camaros with the V6 experience decreased depreciation, or possibly gain a bit of value compared to current used car prices? I suppose we really won't know for sure until Chevy releases their pricing on the 6th gen, but I highly doubt they will lower the starting price of the 6th gen compared to the 5th gen. Thoughts?

It's all about how you sell it. The V6 Camaro was named best in class for best resale value after 36 months. I believe it was on msnbc recently. I think they will do well for years to come. Fortunately GM didn't change the look too drastically causing people to panic.

You'll be just fine. The 5th Gen Camaros will be considered classics. They are the most beautiful cars made since the 1960s.

I see certain versions maintaining their value 'somewhat' but it will most likely deppreciate in value at its current pace, as used Gen6 camaros wont be around for awhile.
