Again you do not need over 91 octane on a stock ZL1 in Vegas because of the elevation!
the car is down on power already. My procharged z28 would be down 5 mph in Vegas compared to Pomona or bakersfield.

You do if running CAI and 10% OD pulley with no tune which is what we are talking about

I feel that whatever works best for each driver is the route they should take. I like the convienence of pulling up to a pump, I don't like to store gas around the house.

I used to by the Extreme 100 from Ochs which is about 2 miles from my house in pails, but now go to their pump in Vista.

Here are some links for California.

I do not think that elevation would change the knock sensors. The car is going to run rich in LV, but the ECM changes for it I would think.

A can of Torco is not gas. Driving to just get gas that is out of our way is a PITA.
Just have it sent By the way, a car is storing gas around the house. But if there is a 100 station close by, that would be a way to go.

On the same topic. We should pull 5 20 fuse pull under hood box over night? I just do not know why over night?? 60 sec sounds ok but I just wonder why over night? Is the a capacitor that has to drain?

Correct. But I was saying you need Torco if running the above mods without tune. To much boost for 91 octane. A/F might be fine, but 91 detonates to quick for 12psi boost on stock tune

You can actually buy Torco race fuel or the fuel accelerators, again it the choice of the owner of the car.

I'm still going through the break-in period on the ZL1. So I can't comment much on the power as of yet. I do like the ride of the ZL1, my Z06 has runflats and does not have the magnetic ride. That is a big plus.

The most noticable difference is the gas mileage, I only average about 16.5 mpg in the ZL1 and get 25 in Z06 on the freeway. The 1000 pound weight difference and 3.73 tail gears in the ZL1 are what stand out between the two, the Z06 has the 3.42 tail gears. I really like both cars, but will have more comments after I break in the ZL1.

I was referring to the Torco accelerator not blended fuel.
