This will be a Third car for me. I have a Honda CR-V for daily work car (150miles a day), a Saturn Sky Redline for the weekends, and now I will be ordering a 2010 Chevy Camaro SS2. I will probably use the Camaro for work 20% of the time, I know it will be too hard to walk past that V8 in the garage every morning!

Hopefully those who use the SS as a daily driver have enough money to pay for gas. LOL, I may get a SS and gas will be one thing I will be looking at.

My old Trans Am is still going to get the brunt of the work. While I am going to drive this Camaro, the fact of the matter is that's what I am going to do...drive it. I really don't plan on taking it anywhere where I'm going to have to leave it for very long in some parking lot with all the losers here where I live. People just don't care!
I'll never forget this one time I went to go get my dad some Chinese food. I pulled up in front of the place and was the only car around. As I'm standing at the counter, I notice this guy parked right next to me on my passenger side. I still didn't think much about it until I saw him fling his "BLEEPING" door open and smack my T/A! He didn't have to do it, and I'm pretty sure he didn't do it on purpose, but WTF?!!! He just didn't care! And if I hadn't have seen it, and heard it...my alarm went nuts, I'm positive he wouldn't have made any attempt to take responsibility for his actions!!! But having seen it happen myself, his insurance company did take car of things. Nope, the Camaro is not going to the grocery store, the movie theater, or any other place I'm uncomfortable with if I can avoid it! I also don't plan on driving it in the rain or fog as far as that goes too. (I'll tell ya's, the fog is so bad around here...I don't want to drive it or any other car once it rolls in! It's dense!!!!!!!!)

I could not put this car into a daily driver i just couldnt do it . Im almost 40 now and cant believe how rude people are with there own cars that we spend soo much money on. All my damage over the 20 years ive been driving has been from jerks opening there doors in parking lots or backing up not looking behind them then hitting my cars. I park always in the back of parking lots but it doesnt matter some tard will bang into it.In the new plant i work for now in 6 months 3 of the guys in my breakroom including myself have had to take our cars to a auto repair shop to fix our cars. For those still not sure let me conclude with this. My manager who just bought an amazing brand new challenger had it less then a month when some j/a opened his door and put a monster dent in the side of his challenger. Unreal............

When the 5th gen arrives, it will be added to the pleasure driving fleet. Right next to the 69 Camaro, 66 Impala, & 66 Impala SS 427. The 2001 Z28 will remain the daily driver for me and the wife will probably keep driving the Avalanche until she can't stand it anymore and we have to buy a 5th gen for her.
