Question Performance driving schools

Anyone plan on going to performance driving school after they get this puppy? I had never considered it before, but thought it might be fun. I found a list of programs around the country here I would be doing this one in particular since you can bring your own car. No point in learning performance maneuvers unless its in the car you're going to be driving, I say!

Anyone ever done something like this? Is it worth the moola? One day program rings in around $600, advanced 2-day is twice that. So it does set the wallet back a bit. My brother has a Challenger so if I could convince him to do it as well I think it could be a blast.

I drive a 2000 Corvette. After a track day at Willow Springs I was ready for some serious mods. I spoke with Dick Guldstrand about my intended mods and he gave me a price. I changed my mind and spent less money on the three day GP school at Bondurant and am now faster no matter what I'm driving. Dick actually admitted it was a good idea and more people should do that. It's amazing how much you can learn, the hardest part is admitting to yourself you are not the worlds greatest driver in the first place. So yeah, sign up for a driving school if you plan on taking turns. I believe there is a good one in Joliet.

I'd planned a Grand Canyon vacation with a couple day layover at the Bondurant school before getting my new Camaro, but being laid off has put everything on hold for now.
