All long tube headers will remove the factory cats. Since the long tube headers are much longer than your factory manifolds, the factory cats and mid pipe simply cannot fit. Most will offer the option to replace the cats with either new shorter mid pipes that include either high flow cats, or a cat delete straight pipe.

If you have more questions, feel free to call us at the number in the sig, or shoot me a PM.

I've got the stainless works headers that connect to the factory pipes and they fit perfect.

Some Do Some don't.

Dynatech
ARH
Stainlessworks

All offer LT Headers and high flow cats that connect directly to your Factory or aftermarket cat back, at the factory connection point.

This makes it real easy to revert back to stock any time.

Ted.

I recommend 1 7/8 Kooks Long tubes with their catted mid pipes. They connect to your stock catback.

Or if you want to save some money and you don't live in a state that does emissions testing, you can go with the race pipe (mid pipe without cats) that connects to your factory catback. The race pipe/mid pipe will save you a couple hundred dollars.
I've put Kooks Long tubes on my last 3 cars and they make great headers.

What is the part number on the catted mid pipes in the Kooks brand? Thanks,

I don't know of any long tube header that will retain the factory cats on these cars. Most header companies are going to offer either an off-road setup with out or cats with it.

Some systems, like ours, will allow you to install and remove when you want for those times when the car is at the track.

From our testing the cats we use with the systems only restrict about 3-5 rwhp on a car making 500 to the tires so they are a high flow design and really do not hurt the performance of the car in any way.

Those that order our kits with the cats, also get the delete pipes as well included.
