Haha next time I'll be taking parts off the car instead! I want to try and see if I pick up 2mph without the front splitter.

Get those shifts in faster and I think you can pick up those 2mph you're looking for.
200mph out of a 3800lbs.+ camaro is going to take power... atleast double of what you got with that H/C setup. I don't think a TVS is going to cut it either. Your going to need some headroom... IMO, about 1000hp crank or a tad more to get there consistently. If that is what you have in the works, then, HELL YEAH!

So you have 1 mile to reach your top speed? Is that correct?
How much faster do you think you could have gone if you had an unlimited distance? |

200mph here I come! Correct! I have had the car up to 186mph but I think that was pretty much it. Looking forward to 200mph! Or at least trying to hit 200 |

Erik, just came across this, awesome run on nothing but engine. Good luck ( and safety ) in your quest to 200mph. As an aside, a few questions, do you have a roll cage in the car and if so where did you get it from, and can you post some pictures of it, and finally, a bit of a techie question, do you have any idea what the drag coefficient of the Camaro is, at least at stock ride height as I know lowering the car would change it a little bit.
Thanks in advance and again great run...

Thanks for comments! The CD is 0,35 which is pretty damn slick for a car like this. That is at the stock ride height. With lowering the car I would say max 0.33, but that just a guess. I do not have a cage yet, haven't decided on whether to get one or not to be honest. If I could get one that could be removed with no visible signs I might! It would be nice! Thank you sir! |
