Driving To Killington, VT Tomorrow

Title says it all, a last minute change in plans and against my better judgement the Camaro will be taking a 300 mile trek to Killington, VT tomorrow..

Here's to hoping all goes well.

Good luck! Don't forget to share the stories of mountain roads, snow and ice, with summer tires!
Really hope you got winter tires!

Good luck with it. Echoing the advice of others, hope you have the right tires under it. Got caught at work on summer tires last Sunday by a snowstorm that showed up 5 hours earlier than predicted and dumped 10 times the predicted amounts. Road crews got caught totally unprepared. Simple 6 mile drive home took over an hour and every bit of skill I had (17 years spent in Upstate New York some of them a 77 Z/28 owner as a daily driver) just hanging on to it let alone trying to stay ahead of the car. By the time I got my SS back in the driveway I was soaked in sweat and nerves totally shot.

Grew up outside of Springfield, MA....My last year up there before moving to FLorida (1996), I had a season pass to Killington. I swear I lived up there for many years...

God I miss that place

Hey Folks,

Plenty of snow but thanks to a great tip on here, I drove through deep snow without traction control on and it didn't spin the tires... Hope to have some pictures shorty..

I'm very impressed with the driveabilty ( 8hrs) and the fuel mileage, 350 a tank.

P.S. -20 with wind chill.. not cool
