opinions on RS quarter panel decals

Was entertaining a set of these in flat black on my wife's ride. Positive and negative opinions are all welcomed.

I've already ordered a set of these for her front fenders. I feel they will blend better with her midnight 20" wheels.

I've never seen those stripes before. I think it looks nice.

I would have to see a side shot of the whole car before offering an opinion.

Here's a shot of the onyx stainless Camaro badges from Emblem Pros. Blends nice with the midnight rims IMO. Haven't received the decals yet. I'll put em' on and if I don't like them then I'll just take em' off. They were like $28 for the pair.

Here's the emblem ..pic looks darker than in person. It sorta looks lighter or darker depending on the light.

And here's what I did waiting for the emblem.

I agree....don't want it to end up looking too gawdy. It's not my ride. . it's my wife's. So far she approves.

Okay ...got the decals for the quarters and after some deliberation decided to apply them to the hood instead. They even fit better there. Anyway here's a couple of lame garage views which do them no justice. I'll try and get some better ones if the weather clears up.

You could have saved a little $$ by plasti dipping the OEM camaro letters instead of replacing them.

I agree that you have to be careful on these cars as they get too busy looking pretty quick.

I did my Silverado letters with plasti dip and it worked out fine. These letters however are polished onyx black stainless and match the rims to a tee when you get it out in the light. The photo I took of them here is washed in black reflection. Hard to capture the true shade until I get a chance outside if the sun ever comes out again.
