Looks awesome. But why does only one side have the fender hash stripes?

Never thought about that. The pics I've seen only have them on the driver side. What I would like to do is have them continue onto the hood. Would have to cut away some of the black vinyl to do so.

The reason why I only put it on one side is because the concept 1LE had them on one side. No other reason

I've heard, that when the hash stripes were introduced decades and decades ago, they were put onto cars so the drivers would know what side of the car the steering wheel was on. I believe it was the 24 Le Mans or something like that where drivers would switch every few hours.

The '96 Corvette Grand Sport and the Corvette C2 raced in the 1960's only had hash marks on the drivers side fender. I've seen other models from the 60's and 70's with hash marks (drivers side only) as well.

This is just another example of people simply doing whatever they want or what they think looks better.
