I choose the Edlebrock S/C because I thought it delivers better low end torque and I love that set you in the seat feeling. I would defintly use a boost a pump just to be on the safe side. But most inportintly in my opionin is get a good tune done to it.

I've never supercharged a vehicle but I have alot of experience in the Turbo world. Like turbo's I'm sure you pick the supercharger based on what you're going to use it for. Drag? AutoX? Road course? (do you need the power down low, middle, or up top?)
Decided what you are going to use the SC for and how much power you are looking to make. Take into account what other mods the car will have. Here's a website that will help significantly while making your decision!! Has a few flow maps too. http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/turbotech.html |

I'm going to leave it stock except exhaust and lp headers just wondering if the procharger is a good fit. Since I can get a really good price on it!? Looking to make 500 rwhp . Thanks for all the help everyone

There are many threads on this just do a search. I chose the Edelbrock as well, but with that being said I don't think you can go wrong with any of the big names.

I also choose the Edelbrock E-Force for the low end torque and the looks. It looks like Chevy put it there. There is enough power for the street.

I chose the E-force as well. And I got the fuel system upgrade and tune from Jannetty Racing and I couldnt be happier. I dont have dyno numbers just yet, (soon!) but my goals were the same as yours, I wanted a daily driver thats reliable and the car drives stock until you get on it.

E-force as well. I love it, very reliable and drives like stock until you punch it. I also did the email tune through Jannetty Racing and it made the car come even more alive.
I am going to be getting the fuel system upgrade in spring, and possibly considering a BAP, but i dont plan on adding more power. |
